Dell Technologies has announced updates to its AI Data Platform aimed at improving the entire AI lifecycle. The enhancements focus on handling large scale unstructured data, making it easier for enterprises to prepare, retrieve and analyze information for generative AI applications.

A key addition is the unstructured data engine, developed with Elastic which enables real-time secure access to massive datasets. It supports vector search and hybrid keyword search all accelerated by GPUs for better performance. This engine works alongside the platform’s other components, including tools for querying structured data and transforming large datasets.

Dell is also introducing the PowerEdge R7725 server with NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. This system will be the first 2U platform to integrate the NVIDIA AI Data Platform reference design, offering enterprises a pre-validated, GPU-accelerated architecture that combines storage, compute, networking and AI software.
