DJI has launched the FlyCart 100, its latest delivery drone designed for industrial and emergency logistics. The new model builds on the FlyCart 30 and increases payload capacity while improving charging speed, flight efficiency and operational safety. It is aimed at use cases such as emergency response, infrastructure work and supply chain delivery in difficult terrain.
The FlyCart 100 supports a maximum payload of up to 100 kg with a maximum takeoff weight of 170 kg. Its updated multi rotor design uses larger motors, optimized wings and carbon fiber propellers to improve lift and stability. With a dual battery setup, the drone can carry up to 65 kg over longer distances while a single battery emergency mode allows heavier loads over shorter ranges.
Charging and power management have been improved through support for ultra fast charging using DJI’s high capacity chargers and generators. Dual battery hot swapping and battery redundancy allow continued operation without long downtime. Batteries can also be heated using a dedicated incubator to maintain performance in cold conditions.
The FlyCart 100 introduces a new winch system with an electric hook for safer loading and unloading. The system includes a long cable with automatic and manual control options and is designed to handle heavy cargo at controlled speeds.
For safety, the drone includes an intelligent system with LiDAR radar and multiple vision sensors to support obstacle detection and terrain awareness. An integrated parachute can deploy during emergencies to reduce landing impact. The drone carries an IP55 rating and is designed to operate in extreme temperatures high altitudes and strong winds.
DJI has also launched the DJI Delivery App and DJI DeliveryHub. These platforms support route planning real time flight monitoring team coordination and data analysis. The FlyCart 100 can also be adapted for third party payloads through supported interfaces.
