Garmin announced the winners of the 2025 Garmin Health Awards at its annual Garmin Health Summit, held this year at the New York Stock Exchange. The awards recognized innovative digital health solutions leveraging Garmin smartwatches, fitness trackers, and data integration.
Fimo Health of Germany won the Expert’s Choice award for its use of Garmin devices to monitor and assess cancer-related fatigue , analyzing data such as heart rate, steps, and stress levels to support better diagnosis and management for patients. Optimity, a Canada-based company, earned the People’s Choice award for creating personalized nudges, challenges, and rewards through Garmin integration to help users build sustainable habits in physical, mental, and financial health.
The Summit also featured key product reveals, including the Venu 4, Garmin’s most advanced wellness smartwatch, as well as the Bounce 2 and Instinct Crossover. Garmin announced a multiyear collaboration with King’s College London on the EMBRACE project, aimed at improving maternal and infant health outcomes with AI-supported care.
Keynote speakers and experts from institutions such as the Mayo Clinic, University of Pennsylvania, Vitality, and SATS shared insights on wearable technology’s role in healthcare, insurance, fitness, and research. With over 200 global leaders attending, the event reinforced Garmin Health’s role in driving innovation through its ecosystem of devices, APIs, and SDKs.
