HARMAN India is hiring a Junior Engineer – Rework to handle defect diagnosis and repair for connected car and car audio products. The role focuses on identifying production issues performing rework and improving manufacturing quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose functional and cosmetic defects in connected car and audio products
- Perform hands on rework including soldering and component repair
- Analyze test failures and identify fault locations
- Investigate recurring defects and document findings
- Work with quality production and engineering teams on corrective actions
- Maintain rework logs defect data and repair records
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on defect trends
- Support initiatives to reduce rework and production rejections
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma BE or BTech in Electronics Electrical Mechanical or related field
- 2 to 5 years of experience in rework or fault diagnosis in automotive electronics or PCBA
- Good understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes
- Strong knowledge of circuit diagrams soldering and test equipment
- Familiarity with IPC standards ESD practices and automotive quality tools
- Experience using SAP MES systems
- Good communication and teamwork skills
