Role Overview

HH Global is hiring a Design Engineer to support the rollout of a major consumer electronics brand across India. The role focuses on adapting and optimizing existing MGFS fixtures to meet regional requirements while ensuring technical excellence across branded retail fixtures, in-store displays, and immersive brand environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Adapt and optimize existing fixture designs for the Indian market based on retailer specifications and brand standards
• Apply Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles to ensure concepts are both innovative and cost-efficient
• Update and modify technical documentation, 3D models, and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and PDM
• Coordinate with internal teams and brand stakeholders to define timelines, cost estimates, and production feasibility
• Ensure full compliance with sustainability, safety, and brand guidelines
• Support prototyping and sample review cycles, incorporating feedback from technical and creative teams
• Maintain and manage design documentation and progress updates for all stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong engineering background; experience with wood, metal, plastics, and digital components
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM; ability to sketch concepts prior to CAD development
• Experience in designing retail environments for global brands or high-tech clients
• Prior experience with Indian consumer electronics retailers (Reliance Digital / Croma / Lotus Vijay etc.) is highly desirable
• Understanding of retailer-specific installation standards and guidelines in India
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in cross-cultural teams
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Hindi or regional languages is an advantage
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced rollout environment
