Huawei’s 5G Core has been named a leader in GlobalData’s 5G Mobile Core: Competitive Landscape Assessment report for the seventh year in a row. The report, released on September 1, 2025, also awarded Huawei top scores across all eight performance dimensions for the second consecutive year. These dimensions include architecture, cloudification, performance, automation, standards leadership and solution maturity.

GlobalData notes that operators are accelerating deployment of 5G standalone core networks to support services such as network slicing, private networks, and autonomous operations. Huawei’s 5G Core was recognized for its strengths in stability, intelligence, cloud-native design, and adaptability under heavy network loads.
Key innovations highlighted include Huawei’s Intelligent Personalized Experience solution, which helps operators improve service quality in real time, and its Single Voice Core platform that supports multi-generation voice services and AI-enabled calling features. Huawei has also introduced its Telco Intelligent Converged Cloud for AI-driven energy savings and service innovation.
