Hyundai Motor Company has announced a global partnership with the International Cricket Council, becoming a Premier Partner for major men’s and women’s ICC tournaments scheduled across 2026 and 2027.
Under this agreement, Hyundai Motor will be associated with six ICC tournaments, including the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027. As a Premier Partner, the company will have access to key matchday moments such as the coin toss, in stadium branding opportunities and fan focused activations designed to enhance engagement during matches.
The partnership is part of Hyundai Motor’s broader global sports strategy, which focuses on connecting with audiences through sports that hold strong cultural relevance in key regions. Cricket plays a central role in markets such as India, where the sport has a wide following and deep social significance.
Hyundai Motor’s global subsidiaries will work together to activate the partnership across regions, using digital platforms, on ground experiences and localized campaigns. Fans attending ICC events can expect interactive fan zones, vehicle displays and digital engagement initiatives as part of Hyundai Motor’s presence at tournaments.
This collaboration also marks Hyundai Motor’s return to ICC events, following its earlier association with the council between 2011 and 2015. The partnership announcement took place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India, with representatives from both organizations present.
