Lenovo Group announced its financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025/26, showing significant increases in both revenue and profit. The company’s revenue grew by 22% to $18.8 billion while net income more than doubled to $505 million.
Growth was observed across all of the company’s business groups, with the PC business delivering strong results and reaching its largest-ever market share of 24.6%. The company’s focus on non-PC revenue streams, such as smartphones and solutions, also grew, now making up almost half of its total revenue.
These results were driven by a strategy focused on three key areas which are capitalizing on opportunities in artificial intelligence, increasing investments in research and development and maintaining operational efficiency. The company also announced progress toward its environmental and social goals including its ambition to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
