Collaboration Focuses on Autonomous Driving, Robotics and Simulation-Based Validation
LG Innotek has entered into a strategic partnership with Applied Intuition to advance its presence in the physical AI market.
The collaboration brings together LG Innotek’s sensing modules and Applied Intuition’s autonomous driving software and simulation tools. The aim is to improve real-world performance of sensing technologies through validation tests across regions including the United States Europe and Japan.
As part of the partnership, LG Innotek will integrate its camera sensing modules into Applied Intuition’s reference vehicles while also leveraging simulation environments to refine technologies such as camera LiDAR and radar-based solutions. The companies are also extending collaboration into drones and robotics to explore broader physical AI applications.
A key development includes LG Innotek’s virtual sensor technology which replicates real sensor behavior in simulation environments. This enables automakers to test and validate autonomous systems more efficiently before deployment.
