LG Electronics has announced the LG Micro RGB evo which it describes as its most advanced LCD TV to date. The new model will be unveiled at CES 2026 and is LG’s first flagship RGB TV. It uses Micro RGB technology with very small individual RGB LEDs and is positioned as a step beyond MiniLED displays.
The TV is powered by the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen 3 which is based on a dual AI engine. This processor applies two types of AI upscaling at the same time to improve sharpness while keeping images balanced and natural. LG says the system draws on its long experience in OLED processing to control RGB backlighting more precisely.
The Micro RGB evo supports full primary color reproduction and has been certified by Intertek for full coverage of BT.2020 DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB color spaces. It also uses Micro Dimming Ultra with over a thousand dimming zones to manage brightness and contrast across dark and bright scenes.
On the software side the TV runs webOS with features such as Voice ID AI Picture and Sound Wizard and a personalized home screen. Additional tools like AI Search and an AI chatbot aim to simplify content discovery. The TV will be available in 75 inch 86 inch and 100 inch sizes.
