LG Electronics has announced the UltraFine evo 6K , a 32-inch monitor that introduces 6K resolution with Thunderbolt™ 5 connectivity. The new model is part of LG’s UltraFine evo lineup, aimed at professionals such as video editors and designers who work with data-intensive content.
The 6,144 x 3,456 resolution display offers a pixel density of 224 PPI for clear text and detailed visuals. It supports 98% of the DCI-P3 and 99.5% of the Adobe RGB color spaces, and is VESA DisplayHDR™ 600 certified. Factory calibration and a Mac-focused Studio Mode provide consistent and accurate color expression for editing and production tasks.
Thunderbolt™ 5 enables data transfer speeds of up to 120Gbps, supporting workflows such as 4K rendering and 8K RAW video editing. The monitor includes multi-port connectivity, daisy-chaining for dual-monitor setups, and built-in KVM switching, allowing use across Mac and Windows systems. When two UltraFine evo 6K monitors are connected, the workspace can expand to nearly five times that of a single UHD 4K display.
The monitor also features a slim, borderless design with ergonomic adjustments for flexible use. Availability begins in South Korea and Japan in September, with a global rollout including the U.S. and Europe in October.
