POCO announced the F8 Ultra and F8 Pro smartphones, marking its entry into the premium segment. The launch also included a collaboration with Bose to integrate Sound by Bose technology, aiming to enhance audio performance across the new devices. Alongside the smartphones, POCO expanded its AIoT lineup with two tablets the POCO Pad X1 and POCO Pad M1.
The F8 Ultra features a dual-chip architecture combining Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and the VisionBoost D8 chipset to support high-frame-rate gaming, reduced power consumption, and thermal stability. It includes a triple-speaker system developed with Bose, a HyperRGB display with lower power usage, and a camera system with a 50MP main sensor and 5x periscope telephoto lens. The device also offers a 6500mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging, HyperOS 3 features, and upgraded connectivity tools.
The F8 Pro shares the same display technology and audio collaboration while offering a streamlined design, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, improved cooling, and a 6210mAh battery with 100W charging. It introduces a dedicated telephoto camera and enhanced imaging tools.
The POCO Pad X1 and Pad M1 provide large displays, Snapdragon processors, long-lasting batteries, and quad-speaker systems, aimed at gaming, entertainment, and productivity.
