Bosch and Tata AutoComp Partner to Accelerate E-Mobility Solutions in India

Bosch Limited and Tata AutoComp Systems Limited have announced a joint venture to expand their presence in India’s fast-growing e-mobility sector.

The partnership will see both companies hold equal stakes, with operations expected to begin by mid-2026, subject to regulatory approvals. The joint venture will focus on the engineering, manufacturing and sales of eAxle systems and electric motors.

The new entity will be headquartered in Pune and aims to support the adoption of electric mobility technologies by offering locally manufactured solutions tailored for the Indian market.

Leadership from both companies highlighted the importance of this collaboration in addressing the growing demand for advanced and localized e-mobility solutions. The initiative combines Bosch’s global expertise in electrification with Tata AutoComp’s strong manufacturing capabilities.

Bosch has already invested over €6 billion globally in e-mobility, and this partnership will help bring those technologies to India.
