Qualcomm Technologies and CP PLUS have announced a collaboration to introduce AI-enabled video intelligence solutions for India’s industrial enterprise and public safety sectors. The partnership combines CP PLUS’ large product portfolio and distribution network with Qualcomm’s edge AI capabilities powered by Dragonwing processors and the Qualcomm Insight Platform.

The solution is designed to shift video security from basic recording to real-time analysis and decision support. It enables video processing on edge devices which allows sensitive data to remain on site. This approach reduces reliance on cloud servers and supports air-gapped deployments which are important for critical infrastructure and public safety use cases.

The integrated platform supports applications such as crowd monitoring PPE compliance access control perimeter safety and faster response to incidents. It also includes an AI assistant that allows users to interact with video data using natural language queries. This helps teams review events quickly and gain clearer context from large volumes of footage.

Beyond safety the collaboration also targets operational efficiency. Use cases include retail footfall analysis logistics monitoring and automated audits. Commercial availability of the solutions is expected in the first quarter of 2026.
