Rajesh Krishnan Appointed as New Managing Director at Samsung Semiconductor India Research (SSIR)

Samsung has announced the appointment of Rajesh Krishnan as the New Managing Director of Samsung Semiconductor India Research (SSIR).

Having worked globally, Rajesh brings expertise in global operations, business transformation, and advancing innovation in semiconductor technology.

With more than three decades of leadership experience, Rajesh has been instrumental in shaping strategies, building high-performance teams, and driving growth across the global semiconductor ecosystem.

Most recently, Rajesh led the Memory Division at SSIR, where he spearheaded the development of cutting-edge storage and memory products for over two decades. His diverse experience also spans computer architecture and compiler design, telecommunication systems covering mobile, network, and satellite. He also brings deep expertise in developing flash storage solutions targeting embedded, server, and automotive domains, with renewed focus on DDR/HBM driving the AI innovations in the market.

Rajesh succeeds Balajee Sowrirajan, who made significant contributions to the company’s growth and success in the semiconductor industry.
