Samsung Electronics America has introduced the Odyssey OLED G6, the first OLED gaming monitor with a 500Hz refresh rate along with two new Odyssey G7 curved models in 37-inch and 40-inch sizes. All are now available in the US.
The 27-inch Odyssey OLED G6 offers QHD resolution with QD-OLED technology, 0.03ms response time and support for NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. It features HDR True Black 500 certification, peak brightness of 1,000 nits, glare reduction and burn-in protection. The display is Pantone Validated for accurate color reproduction.
The 37-inch Odyssey G7 has a 1000R curved 4K UHD display, 165Hz refresh rate, and 1ms response time. The 40-inch model offers a wider 21:9 WUHD screen with a 180Hz refresh rate. Both are HDR 600 certified and support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. They include multitasking features like Auto Source Switch+, Picture-by-Picture and ergonomic adjustments, aiming to combine immersive visuals with practical functionality.
