Samsung has rolled out its Disaster Relief & Care Program in Punjab to assist communities affected by the recent floods. The initiative focuses on providing on-ground support through care camps, where residents can access essential household services and repair assistance for water-damaged appliances.
The company’s service teams in Punjab have already begun receiving requests for support, particularly for submerged smartphones, washing machines, refrigerators and televisions. These care camps are designed to deliver quick relief, offering essential services such as washing facilities, safe food storage, and access to drinking water through deployed infrastructure.
To ensure visibility, Samsung has used local channels including posters, banners on Samsung Members, social media outreach and announcement vehicles in affected villages. Alongside Punjab, disaster-preparedness camps with tents, relief kits, and appliances have been pre-positioned in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai, ready to be activated in case of future emergencies.
