Samsung returned to Gamescom 2025 in Cologne with events across two venues, highlighting Galaxy’s role in mobile gaming through collaboration, innovation and community engagement.
At the Samsung Gaming Forum, leaders from Google, HoYoverse, Qualcomm and Samsung discussed how joint work is advancing mobile gameplay. Topics included the adoption of the Vulkan Engine, chipset optimization and features like Game Help in Circle to Search. Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy as a key driver of recent improvements, while HoYoverse shared results from Vulkan integration in Genshin Impact.
After the forum, fans entered The World of PlayGalaxy, an interactive space featuring zones for popular titles like PUBG Mobile, Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact. Visitors joined live challenges, influencer battles and talk shows while exploring Galaxy devices’ gaming performance. The PlayGalaxy Cup added competitive energy, with Team Redox winning the final match.
Samsung’s booth at Koelnmesse also gave attendees a chance to try new devices across different games, showing how hardware and software partnerships enhance speed, visuals and responsiveness. The showcase emphasized Galaxy’s place in mobile gaming and the importance of collaboration with studios, creators and fans.
