Sharp has introduced a new corporate slogan, “In step with your future.” for global markets outside Japan. The slogan reflects the values Sharp aims to share with international stakeholders and aligns with the company’s business philosophy highlighted in its FY2025–2027 Medium Term Management Plan. The message draws from founder Tokuji Hayakawa’s principles, which focus on sincerity, creativity and attention to everyday life.
The slogan supports Sharp’s mission to observe how people live and create new experiences through thoughtful product design. Along with the slogan, Sharp has also formalized a detailed statement that explains the ideas behind the message. This statement and slogan together form the foundation for Sharp’s branding efforts across global markets.
With this shift Sharp aims to position itself as a company that builds new cultures through products and services that bring useful change to people’s lives. The updated branding is intended to connect more closely with international customers while reflecting Sharp’s long term direction.
