Shashi Amin, CEO – Cable Solutions at APAR Industries Limited, has been appointed Vice President of the Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA). This adds to his career of over three decades in the electrical and cable industry marked by leadership, transformation and steady growth.
At APAR Industries, Shashi has led innovation, global market expansion and product development to meet industrial and infrastructure needs. His work has helped strengthen the company’s presence in power and energy solutions.
Before APAR, he spent nearly 11 years at Polycab India Limited, where he held senior leadership roles including Executive President and CBO – Cables and President and SBU Head – Cables. He played a key role in expanding the cables business and building stronger distribution networks in India and abroad.
In his new role at IEEMA, Shashi will contribute to industry initiatives, technology advancement and collaboration across the electrical and electronics sector.
