Position: Warehouse Manager
Location: Jagiroad, Assam
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, returns).
- Manage warehouse space, equipment and staff efficiently.
- Implement and monitor operational policies, workflows, and productivity measures.
- Track KPIs such as order fulfilment, inventory accuracy, and shipping timelines.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Handle inventory management: cycle counts, reconciliation, storage optimization, and raw material coordination.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and other teams.
- Provide performance reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering/science/commerce (Supply Chain/Business Administration preferred).
- 10+ years of warehouse management experience (preferably in electronics or similar industries).
- Knowledge of incoterms, logistics, customs, import/export regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Ariba).
- Knowledge of safety standards (OHSAS, Semi standards).
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate/oversee handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
- DG certification is required.
- Global SCM certification (e.g., APICS) is an added advantage.
