Vasundhara Mudgil has joined OpenAI as India Communications Lead, based in Mumbai. In this role, she will guide OpenAI’s communications strategy in India, focusing on awareness, public engagement, and conversations around artificial intelligence and innovation. With over 15 years of experience in global technology and media organizations, she brings strong expertise in storytelling, content strategy, and corporate communications.
Before joining OpenAI, Vasundhara led communications at Spotify India, where she played a key role in the company’s market entry and brand growth over seven years. Earlier, she worked with Intel Corporation and Genesis Burson-Marsteller, managing communications for leading clients in technology, telecom, and corporate sectors. A graduate of IE Business School, she is known for combining creative storytelling with strategic communication.
