Sameer Nagpal Named CEO at Vikram Solar to Lead Next Phase of Growth
Vikram Solar Limited has appointed Sameer Nagpal as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
He brings over three decades of leadership experience across energy, manufacturing and industrial sectors. His previous roles include leadership positions at Livguard Energy Technologies, Dalmia Bharat Group, Shalimar Paints, Ingersoll Rand, Zicom and Carrier Air Conditioning.
At Vikram Solar, he will lead the company’s strategic direction with a focus on transformation, scaling operations and strengthening its global presence in renewable energy.
The company is pursuing an ambitious growth roadmap to become a fully integrated energy solutions provider. Plans include expanding module manufacturing capacity to 15.5 GW and building 12 GW of cell manufacturing capacity through backward integration.
Vikram Solar is also entering the energy storage segment, targeting 5 GWh BESS module manufacturing and 7.5 GWh battery cell manufacturing with scope for further expansion.
