Microsoft has released the Xbox full screen experience for Windows 11 handheld devices in market. This update improves performance and lets users start their device directly in Xbox which creates a smoother way to begin playing. The interface is made for simple controller use and helps players move through their game library with ease. It also supports quick switching between games and apps through a built in Task Switcher.

The full screen experience is now in preview for laptops, desktops and tablets that run Windows 11. It brings a console like layout that works well with controllers and supports titles from different PC game stores.

To try the PC preview users must join both the Xbox Insider Program and the Windows Insider Program. After joining they can access the PC Gaming Preview in the Xbox Insider Hub app. Microsoft encourages users to share feedback through the Feedback Hub or the Report a Problem option in the Xbox app. Support is also available on the Xbox Insider subreddit.
