A leading consumer electronics company is looking for an experienced professional to head its R&D division for LED TVs. This role is focused on driving product innovation, leading new product development, and strengthening manufacturing capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LED TV or consumer electronics R&D, with proven expertise in system integration, display modules and global market exposure.
Role Overview
- The Head of R&D will be responsible for:
- Leading end-to-end product development, from concept to market launch
- Integrating emerging technologies into product design and manufacturing processes
- Driving cost optimization, BOM efficiency, and manufacturability
- Coordinating with production teams, OEM/ODM partners, and customers
- Overseeing product testing, validation, and compliance with international standards
- Building and managing a high-performing R&D team
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in R&D, preferably in LED TV or consumer electronics
- Strong expertise in system integration, display modules and electronics
- Experience in quality, reliability testing, and product validation
- Proven exposure to ODM/OEM environments and global markets
