
After securing 55 accolades at the Red Dot and iF Design Awards, LG has achieved a remarkable feat by winning all three of the world’s most prestigious design awards.
LG Electronics (LG) has achieved a remarkable total of 17 awards, comprising 5 Bronze awards and 12 Finalist awards, at the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) 2026, a prestigious international design competition organized by the renowned Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA).
IDEA is recognized as one of the top three most esteemed design competitions globally, alongside the Red Dot Design Award and the iF Design Award. With a cumulative total of 55 awards from the Red Dot Design Award and the iF Design Award, LG has now further enhanced its accolades by securing 17 additional honors at IDEA 2026, reaffirming its exceptional design prowess.
Each year, IDEA assesses submissions based on design innovation, enhancements to user experience, and business viability, selecting winners across 20 categories, which include Home, Consumer Technology, Commercial & Industrial Products, and Packaging.
This year, LG garnered 5 Bronze awards, showcasing its unique design capabilities. The award-winning entries feature the LG OLED evo AI W6, a wireless television with a remarkably thin body measuring just nine millimeters, the LG Therma V™ indoor unit series, an air-to-water heat pump (AWHP) designed to seamlessly integrate into indoor environments, the LG UltraFine evo, a high-resolution professional monitor characterized by its four-sided slim-bezel design, the LG Smart Monitor Swing, which boasts a flexible stand design enabling users to easily adjust the screen, and the LG PuriCare™ AeroMini, an air purifier crafted in a compact form.
Moreover, 12 products were recognized as Finalists, including LG CLOiD™, a home robot that assists with household tasks by engaging with users through various facial expressions in response to voice commands and gestures, the LG PuriCare System Air Purifier, a ceiling-mounted air purifier designed to optimize space efficiency, and the LG gram Pro, an ultra-lightweight laptop constructed with Aerominum, a novel material engineered for enhanced portability, durability, and premium design.
