Google Play Accelerator India 2026 Program Supports AI Startups and App Innovation

Google has opened applications for the third cohort of the Google Play Accelerator India program, a three month equity free initiative focused on AI powered app and game startups.

The program offers mentorship from Google experts, technical audits on app quality and security and support for integrating AI and machine learning technologies such as Gemini and Google Cloud. Startups also receive business guidance on strategy, growth and market expansion.

Eligible startups must be based in India, have a published app on the Play Store and be at the seed to Series A stage with AI or ML as a core part of their product.

Previous participants have used AI tools to improve performance, reduce costs and increase user engagement across sectors including healthcare, education and entertainment.

Applications close on May 24, 2026, with the program starting in July and concluding with a demo day in November 2026.
