Mahesh Babu appointed as Managing Director Olectra Greentech Limited

Olectra Greentech Limited has appointed Mahesh Babu as its new Managing Director. He brings over three decades of experience in the automotive and clean mobility sectors, having worked in leadership roles at Switch Mobility, Mahindra Electric, Mahindra & Mahindra and Ashok Leyland.

Over the years, he has been involved in introducing new technologies, supporting large-scale growth, and promoting clean energy mobility in India and abroad. He has also contributed to national discussions on sustainable mobility through his roles at SIAM, CII and FICCI.

Mahesh holds degrees from BITS Pilani and Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business. At Olectra, he will focus on strengthening the company’s work in the electric vehicle space.
