Key Responsibilities

- Understand what consumers want and how they buy
- Track competitors, their products, pricing, and market share
- Analyze sales channels like retail, online stores, and telecom operators
- Review company strengths and gaps to plan better market positioning
Strategic Planning
- Build a long-term roadmap for new product launches and market expansion
- Create profit and loss plans covering revenue, margin, and growth targets
Product Lifecycle Management
- Plan the full GTM strategy across the 4Ps:
- Product: Choose models and specs suited for local demand
- Place: Select customer segments and distribution channels
- Price: Set pricing that stays competitive yet profitable
- Promotion: Design local campaigns to increase sales
- Adjust pricing and policies as the market changes
- Manage promotional budgets effectively
- Forecast demand and control inventory levels to avoid overstock or shortages
Business and Financial Oversight
- Track key metrics like revenue, sales volume, and profit
- Manage marketing and sales costs to improve ROI
- Use data to measure performance and guide decisions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with global product, marketing, supply chain, and sales teams
- Partner with local retailers, distributors, and telecom operators
- Ensure all activities comply with local laws and import regulations
Performance Metrics
- Achieve target sales volumes and revenue goals
- Maintain profitability through smart pricing and expense control
- Keep healthy inventory turnover rates
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 5–10 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development in smartphones or consumer electronics
- Strong understanding of local market trends and consumer behavior
- Skilled in pricing, forecasting, and channel management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and local language
