Siemens and Capgemini have expanded their long-term partnership to develop AI-native digital solutions for product engineering, manufacturing, and operations. These solutions are built with artificial intelligence at their core to help industries become more flexible, efficient, and sustainable. The collaboration will focus on 16 key capability areas aimed at improving production efficiency, time-to-market, and quality while reducing environmental impact.
The companies will combine Siemens’ strengths in industrial software, automation, and sustainability with Capgemini’s expertise in engineering and digital transformation. The partnership will also address long-standing challenges in integrating IT and operational systems using technologies like industrial AI, digital twins, and advanced automation.
Real-world projects already reflect this approach. For Airbus, the partners are helping decarbonize factories in the U.S. and U.K., targeting major reductions in energy use and emissions by 2030. For Sanofi, they are digitalizing production through AI-powered Manufacturing Execution Systems, reducing review time and deviations. For GravitHy, they are optimizing hydrogen production and energy transition processes.
The initiative will target industries such as aerospace, automotive, life sciences, hydrogen, and water management, building on a two-decade global partnership serving over 100 clients.
