Amazon Web Services (AWS) has expanded AWS Marketplace in India, enabling customers and partners to transact in for software and services. This move simplifies procurement, enhances cost transparency, and supports local invoicing and payment options. Indian Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Consulting Partners, and technology providers including and can now list and sell offerings directly in INR with simplified tax compliance.

The expansion allows Indian enterprises such as Observe.AI, Swiggy, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to streamline procurement, accelerate innovation, and gain faster access to global technologies through AWS Marketplace. Leaders from AWS emphasized that local currency transactions and compliance simplifications will drive AI adoption and digital transformation across India’s rapidly growing technology ecosystem.

According to a Forrester study, AWS Marketplace delivers a 377% ROI and reduces procurement time by up to 60%. With support for AI agents, tools, and software, AWS Marketplace continues to serve as a vital growth platform for partners and enterprises alike. This expansion reflects AWS’s long-term commitment to empowering India’s innovation landscape and digital economy.
