Siemens showcased new industrial AI technologies at CES 2026, focusing on how AI is being applied across design, engineering, manufacturing, operations and supply chains. A key announcement was the expansion of its partnership with NVIDIA to build an Industrial AI Operating System aimed at creating AI driven and adaptive manufacturing systems. The first reference site is planned at Siemens’ electronics factory in Erlangen, Germany, starting in 2026.

Siemens also launched Digital Twin Composer, scheduled to be available on the Siemens Xcelerator Marketplace in mid 2026. The software connects digital twins with real time operational data and NVIDIA Omniverse simulations, enabling large scale industrial metaverse environments. PepsiCo is already using this technology in the U.S. to simulate plant and supply chain upgrades, reporting improvements in throughput and capital efficiency.

The company announced nine new industrial AI copilots across its software portfolio including Teamcenter, Polarion and Opcenter to support product design, compliance and manufacturing operations. Siemens also highlighted AI applications in drug discovery through Dotmatics, energy through Commonwealth Fusion Systems and shop floor operations via AI enabled Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses and collaboration with Microsoft on industrial copilots.
