OPPO and Google Cloud have strengthened their strategic collaboration to redefine the next generation AI operating system. The partnership focuses on two core pillars Memory Symbiosis and Privacy Protection with the goal of turning smartphones into deeply personal intelligent companions.
At the Google Cloud Export Summit in Beijing, OPPO shared its vision for an AIOS that goes beyond individual features and adapts to user behavior needs and context. The company highlighted three major challenges users face today retaining information finding it easily and anticipating what they need next.
To address memory retention, OPPO introduced AI Mind Space, a system level memory layer that acts as a second brain. Built with Google Gemini, it organizes text images and voice interactions stored on the device to deliver more relevant and personalized responses.
For faster information access, OPPO and Google Cloud enhanced AI Search with stronger natural language understanding. Users can search across apps using everyday language instead of exact keywords. To support anticipation, AI Suggest combines on-device context with stored memory to offer timely and relevant recommendations.
Privacy remains a key focus. OPPO introduced its Private Computing Cloud architecture, which uses Google Cloud Confidential Computing to process data securely. This approach allows cloud level AI capabilities without exposing user data, reinforcing trust and security.
OPPO’s broader AI strategy is built on on-device computing shared memory intelligence and open agent collaboration. Through its work with Google Cloud, OPPO aims to enable seamless Agent-to-Agent interoperability across platforms and ecosystems.
