ASUS Republic of Gamers announced the ROG Strix Aiolos SSD Enclosure designed for users who need fast portable storage with simple management. The enclosure supports next generation NVMe M.2 SSDs and connects via USB C 3.2 Gen 2×2 delivering transfer speeds of up to 20Gbps.

ROG Strix Aiolos supports both PCIe NVMe and SATA M.2 SSDs in 2242, 2260 and 2280 sizes. It features a tool free push to open design that allows quick installation or removal of drives. Storage performance and health can be monitored through the ROG SSD Dashboard which provides real time status updates through a custom interface.

To manage heat the enclosure uses a dual layer cooling design with an internal thermal pad and a heat resistant liquid silicone rubber coating. This helps maintain stable performance during heavy workloads while protecting the device from dust and wear.

The enclosure also includes customizable Aura RGB lighting and portable accessories such as a metal hook fabric tag and braided cable. It supports Windows and macOS systems and is built for mobile use.
