Dell and Halcyon Partner on Ransomware Protection for Commercial PCs

Dell Technologies announced a collaboration with Halcyon to introduce the only commercial PC platform designed specifically for ransomware resilience. The solution combines Dell’s built in hardware and firmware security with Halcyon’s AI powered anti ransomware platform to add a dedicated layer of protection beyond traditional endpoint security tools.

Ransomware attacks often begin on employee PCs and can spread rapidly across networks, leading to data theft system encryption and operational shutdowns. While standard security tools address a wide range of threats ransomware requires specialized defenses. Halcyon is built exclusively to prevent detect respond to and recover from ransomware attacks at every stage of the attack lifecycle.

Halcyon’s platform uses AI and behavioral models trained on ransomware activity to provide capabilities such as rapid file recovery without paying ransom protection against data exfiltration and round the clock expert support for incident response and recovery. When combined with Dell’s secure commercial PC architecture the solution helps organizations reduce downtime protect data integrity and maintain business continuity.

The joint offering is aimed at organizations across sectors such as finance healthcare government retail and manufacturing where downtime and data loss carry high risk. The collaboration focuses on delivering practical security outcomes and strengthening zero trust strategies at the device level.
