Narendra Modi inaugurated the semiconductor facility of Kaynes Technology in Sanand, Gujarat, marking the start of production at the plant.

The facility will manufacture Intelligent Power Modules, which are used in applications such as electric vehicles and industrial systems. A portion of the production is planned for export, contributing to India’s role in the global semiconductor supply chain.

The inauguration follows recent developments in India’s semiconductor sector, including multiple projects under the India Semiconductor Mission.
