Nokia Named Leader in Data Center Switching by GigaOm for Fifth Year

Recognition Highlights AI-Ready Networking and Automation Capabilities

Nokia has been named a Leader and Outperformer in the 2026 Data Center Switching Radar Report by GigaOm, marking the fifth consecutive year of recognition.

The report evaluates vendors based on technical capabilities, product roadmap, and operational performance. Nokia’s Data Center Fabric solution was positioned in the Innovation and Platform Play category, with strong scores across automation, reliability, and AI-focused networking features.

The solution received high ratings across key areas including hardware portfolio, switching and routing capabilities, network operations, security, and NetDevOps readiness. It also demonstrated strengths in emerging areas such as AI-driven infrastructure and microservices-based architecture.

Nokia’s Data Center Fabric integrates switching platforms, its SR Linux operating system and automation tools to support scalable and programmable network environments.
