Garmin D2 Mach 2 Pro Smartwatch Introduces inReach Satellite Features
Garmin has introduced the D2 Mach 2 Pro, its first aviator smartwatch with inReach satellite and cellular connectivity.
The smartwatch allows users to send messages, make calls, share location, and access SOS services without relying on a smartphone. It is designed for use in remote environments, offering communication through both LTE and satellite networks.
The device features a 1.4-inch AMOLED display, aviation maps, weather updates, and compatibility with avionics systems. It also includes tools such as voice commands, navigation, and pilot-focused features like Red Shift Mode to support night operations.
Health tracking and fitness features are integrated, including biometric monitoring and support for over 100 activities. The watch offers up to 24 days of battery life in smartwatch mode.
The D2 Mach 2 Pro is priced at $1,549.99 and is being showcased at the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo in Florida.
