Samsung Electronics, a worldwide leader in advanced memory technology, has today announced the launch of the P9 and P7, its latest portable solid-state drives (SSDs) equipped with USB4 connectivity. The company presented the new P Series at Gamescom 2026, the largest gaming event globally, which took place in Cologne, Germany from August 26 to 30.
The P Series is engineered to address the rapidly increasing storage requirements driven by ultra-high-resolution video, AI-generated content, and expansive gaming experiences. It features the flagship P9, which offers top-tier performance tailored for professional users, alongside the P7, which is optimized for quick and convenient storage solutions for everyday applications.
