Apple Updates App Store Connect Analytics With New Metrics and Cohort Tools
Apple has introduced a major update to Analytics in App Store Connect, adding new monetization and subscription insights for developers.
The update includes over 100 new metrics, allowing developers to better understand the performance of in-app purchases and subscription offers. It also introduces cohort analysis capabilities, enabling tracking of user behavior based on attributes such as download source, region and offer timelines.
Apple has added peer group benchmarks to help developers compare performance using metrics like download-to-paid conversion and proceeds per download. These benchmarks use privacy-focused techniques to ensure data protection.
Two new subscription reports are now available through the Analytics Reports API, enabling deeper offline analysis and integration with external data systems. Additional filtering options allow developers to refine insights across multiple parameters.
The update also includes a new App Store Analytics Guide to support data-driven decision making.
