ASUS has announced the ProArt PF120 case fan, a new cooling solution designed for users who need strong airflow and static pressure in a minimalist form factor. The PF120 delivers fan speeds of up to 3000rpm, static pressure of 7.3mmH₂O, and airflow reaching 104.8cfm, making it suitable for demanding workloads and liquid cooling setups such as AiO radiators.
The fan uses liquid crystal polymer blades, a material chosen for its strength, low thermal expansion, and vibration damping. This allows stable performance even at high speeds. A narrow 0.5mm gap between the blades and the frame improves airflow efficiency while reducing turbulence and noise. ASUS has also integrated a brass bearing housing with a steel motor core to improve durability and long term reliability.
With a 28mm thick frame, the PF120 is thinner than many high speed competitors, improving compatibility with compact cases and radiators. Installation is simplified through a patented daisy chain connector that allows multiple fans to be linked together for power and control, reducing cable clutter. The three pack version includes an in line speed controller with preset modes for quiet balanced or maximum performance operation. The fan is available in black and white finishes.
