ASUS IoT announced the PE1000U, a compact fanless DIN rail industrial PC designed for autonomous mobile robots robotics and computer vision workloads. The system is powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors and targets real time edge intelligence in space constrained industrial environments.
PE1000U measures 63 x 110 x 160 mm and features a rugged IP40 rated fanless chassis tested to MIL STD 810H standards. It supports operating temperatures from -25°C to 70°C and accepts a wide 9 to 36V DC input with built in ignition control, making it suitable for on vehicle and mobile deployments.
The system supports Intel Core Ultra 265U or 235U processors with integrated CPU GPU and NPU acceleration to handle motion control AI inference and graphics workloads simultaneously. Connectivity includes multiple USB COM and Ethernet ports, dual CAN Bus isolated DIO and support for dual 4K displays via HDMI and DisplayPort.
A sealed wave pattern aluminum heatsink enables passive cooling without fans or vents, helping ensure long term reliability in dusty or vibration heavy environments. PE1000U is optimized for AMR robotics and industrial vision with support for LiDAR cameras motor controllers and wireless options such as WiFi 6E or 5G.
