Bosch Connected Biking Platform Powers Digital Ecosystem for eBike Mobility
Bosch eBike Systems has introduced the Connected Biking platform, a digital ecosystem designed to support the development and operation of connected eBike services.
The platform provides standardized interfaces and cloud APIs that allow manufacturers, dealers and service providers to build and integrate their own digital solutions. It connects eBikes through the Bosch ConnectModule, enabling continuous data collection across the vehicle lifecycle including usage, configuration and service history.
This data enables multiple applications such as fleet management, leasing, insurance and app-based services. Manufacturers can use insights to improve product development while dealers can better manage inventory, rentals and test fleets. App providers can integrate services into the eBike Flow app to reach a wider user base.
Fleet operators gain real-time visibility into location, battery status and usage, helping reduce downtime and improve operations. Leasing and insurance providers can track vehicle condition and manage risk more effectively.
The platform also incorporates data protection measures and secure infrastructure, positioning it as a foundation for scalable digital mobility services in the eBike industry.
