Bowers & Wilkins and McLaren hosted a joint event in Las Vegas to mark the launch of the Px8 S2 McLaren Edition headphones. The event took place at the McLaren Experience Center at the Wynn Las Vegas ahead of a major motorsport weekend and brought together media influencers and motorsport fans.
The event included a discussion on shared values such as precision performance and engineering. Lando Norris joined the session and spoke about the role of music in his routine during and outside race weekends. Guests also took part in supervised driving experiences using McLaren Artura and McLaren seven fifty S models with Bowers and Wilkins audio used during the sessions.
The Px8 S2 McLaren Edition was the main product showcased. The wireless headphones feature carbon cone drive units noise cancellation support for aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless and sound tuning controls through the Bowers and Wilkins Music app. The design uses McLaren inspired colours including anthracite grey and papaya. Battery life is rated at up to thirty hours with support for fast charging.
The launch continues the long running partnership between Bowers and Wilkins and McLaren which spans over a decade.
