Hisense unveiled the 163MX RGBY MicroLED Display at CES 2026 and received a CES 2026 Innovation Award for its four primary MicroLED color architecture.
The 163MX introduces an RGBY structure by adding a yellow sub pixel to the traditional red green and blue layout. This design addresses a known color gap in the 500 to 600 nanometer range and improves color accuracy in large format MicroLED displays. The display manages color consistency across more than 33 million subpixels using advanced color management techniques.
The screen supports up to 100 percent of the BT.2020 color space and maintains uniform brightness and color across its full size. Alongside display performance, the 163MX features a slim 32 mm profile and a zero gap wall mount to support cleaner integration into interior spaces.
The product reflects Hisense’s ongoing work in MicroLED development and large scale display design. The 163MX is being shown at CES 2026 as a concept display and offers insight into future directions for ultra large screen technology.
