Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has been selected for the CDP Climate Change A List for the third consecutive year.
CDP is a global non profit organization that evaluates how companies and governments disclose and manage environmental impacts across climate change forests and water security. In 2025 more than 22,100 companies disclosed data through CDP. Only organizations with strong performance and disclosure are included in the A List.
Honda aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 across all products and corporate activities. As part of this goal the company has set 2030 targets for electrified vehicle sales and for reducing CO₂ emissions intensity during product use across motorcycles automobiles and power products. For its operations Honda targets a 46% reduction in total CO2 emissions by 2030 compared with fiscal year 2020.
Key initiatives include improving production efficiency expanding energy saving measures increasing the use of low carbon and renewable energy and installing solar panels at manufacturing sites. Honda also operates a wind power plant in Brazil that supplies electricity for automobile production. These efforts supported Honda’s third consecutive A List recognition.
