Hyundai Motor Company announced the debut of the ELANTRA N TCR in Gran Turismo 7 during the Gran Turismo World Series 2025 World Final held in Fukuoka, Japan. The announcement marked ten years of collaboration between Hyundai Motor and Polyphony Digital, the creator of the Gran Turismo franchise.
The ELANTRA N TCR, a touring car used in global motorsport competitions, was confirmed to be added to the game in the January 2026 update under the name ELANTRA N TC. The update aligned with the tenth anniversary of the Hyundai N performance brand, which was first showcased globally in 2015 with the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo concept.
The January 2026 update was set to include the ELANTRA N TC along with a Hyundai N themed menu at GT Café and expanded content within the Hyundai Museum at Brand Central. These additions allowed players to explore the background and development of Hyundai’s performance vehicles within the game environment.
The announcement took place at the Fukuoka International Congress Center during the Gran Turismo World Series World Final held on December 20 and 21, 2025. Representatives from Hyundai Motor and Polyphony Digital jointly presented the vehicle and reflected on the decade long partnership, highlighting the evolution of Hyundai N from concept models to real world motorsport and digital racing platforms.
