At CES 2026, Lenovo showcased a range of proofs of concept that explore how AI could reshape personal computing devices and user experiences. These concepts focus on productivity, flexibility, multi-device integration and user well-being across laptops, displays, wearables and accessories.
One of the key concepts is the ThinkPad Rollable XD Concept which reimagines the traditional laptop form factor. The device features an expanding rollable display that transforms from a compact 13.3-inch screen to nearly 16 inches. This allows users to gain more screen space without carrying a larger device. The concept supports touch gestures voice controls and AI-powered features such as live translation and multi-modal interactions. The transparent Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 cover highlights the mechanical design while adding durability.
Lenovo also introduced the Personal AI Hub Concept known as Project Kubit. This is a personal edge cloud device designed to support AI applications across a user’s ecosystem including PCs smartphones wearables and smart home devices. Powered by two ThinkStation PGX compact AI workstations using NVIDIA Grace Blackwell technology the hub enables data aggregation analytics and AI-driven experiences through touch and voice interaction.
Another concept on display was the Lenovo AI Glasses Concept. These lightweight smart glasses are designed for hands-free interaction and connect wirelessly to smartphones or PCs. Features include live translation image recognition notification summaries calling music playback and presentation support. Weighing 45 grams the glasses are designed for extended daily use with up to eight hours of operation.
Lenovo also showcased AI-powered display concepts. The Smart Sense Display Concept functions as a multi-device hub that supports wireless connections with phones laptops and tablets. It allows content sharing multi-screen collaboration and voice-based interaction. In addition Lenovo presented a Personalized Display Concept that adapts brightness color temperature and visual settings based on user profiles posture eye strain time of day and location to support comfort and well-being.
In the accessories category Lenovo introduced the Adaptable Keyboard Concept with adjustable keystroke force for different use cases such as work and gaming. The Self-Charging Kit Concept includes a keyboard and mouse powered by indoor light harvesting technology designed to operate without traditional charging.
