LG Electronics has partnered with Sedition to bring contemporary digital artworks to LG Gallery+, a premium visual curation service available on LG Smart TVs. The collaboration adds curated digital art content to help users personalize their home entertainment experience through screen based art.
Sedition works with contemporary artists and cultural institutions to publish artworks created specifically for digital displays. Through this partnership, LG Smart TV users gain access to more than 300 curated digital artworks, including photography moving image and technology driven art adapted for high quality viewing on screens.
The collection includes exclusive Gallery+ works by six artists. These include SARES whose Vertigo series combines generative AI biometric data and mathematical structures, and Diego Castro also known as M.O.N.O.M.O with Synthesized Nature digital sculptures that explore the intersection of organic and technological forms. The lineup also features works by Mat Collishaw Mark Titchner StudioScheele and Lindsay Kokoska.
Powered by LG’s webOS platform, LG Gallery+ now offers access to over 5,000 artworks spanning fine art cinematic visuals and digital scenes. Users can also enhance ambiance with curated background music or personal playlists via Bluetooth.
