LG Taiwan introduced its complete PuriCare Air Care lineup on October 29, 2025, offering media attendees a detailed look at new products designed for household air management. The event highlighted the brand’s focus on combining technology with an understanding of daily living needs. Opening remarks from LG Taiwan’s managing director, Jeong Yeon-kwan, emphasized ongoing efforts to align product development with consumer behavior. This was followed by insights from Lee Dong-hyuk, chief engineer of LG’s Air Care R&D Department, who discussed advancements in purification systems, AI-based sensing and user-centered design.
A key moment of the event was the “Cat Living Showcase,” centered on the PuriCare AeroCatTower, demonstrated with live cats. Dr. Lin Tzu-Hsuan, a certified animal behavior consultant, explained how factors like airflow, sound and scent influence feline comfort, offering context to the product’s design approach. LG Taiwan also shared that the AeroCatTower was included in TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2025 list.
Four themed zones allowed visitors to experience different product categories, including areas dedicated to AI-enabled air care, dehumidification and the full PuriCare range. The showcase reflected LG Taiwan’s intention to address the needs of both people and pets within modern living environments.
